Default Stock leaf springs 87 W250?

Hey 1st gen fans and owners..I got an 87 w250. It always rode rough as all get out..Like no travel in the suspension. Thru research it looks like I have the highest weight capacity springs..7 Lvs in the back and 6 Lvs in the front. I had a plow which I removed and now its even worse. My goal is to swap out all the springs and shocks with a fresh lift kit. But I want to soften the ride a good bit too. Can anyone recommend a company? I heard Roughcountry lives up to their name.

You right on Rough Country!

Try these folks, as I got my lift kit from them years ago, and they're still in business . Let them know you want a SOFTER ride, and see what they recommend.

I suspect SHOCKS will also play a big part in a softer ride. Investigate that angle as well.
