Hi guys. It has been awhile since i have been here in Jan 2015 i hit ice and went in a ditch and later a kid and his ford 250 took my truck out for good. Have not replaced it and now i am wanting a truck SO BAD and only a Dodge. I had a 88 d100 3.9 and a manual(had problems with it). So what trucks will get better mpgs i know /6 manual will but what could i expect? I will be driving about 20 or so mins 1 way there and then back at 65 mph? Now i have a 82 honda and it get great mpg and i know the truck will get 1/2 that. thanks

Red face

You're going to get sucktacular gas mileage with ANY Gen.1 - even Magnums. Cummins diesels are the most economical trucks of that era, getting around 17mpg. Annnnnnnnnd... that's as GOOD as it gets!
