Default '71 318 to '84 NP435 Bellhousing Question

Howdy all.
I recently picked up a fully functional 318 from a 1971 Sweptline for a song. I wasn't really in the market for a motor, but for the price I couldn't pass it up, especially because it came with all of the ancillaries like starter, alternator, etc as well as some other misc. parts that'll fit my '69 Sweptline.

However, now that I have the motor, I'm considering a v8 swap into my '84 W150, as the current Slant Six is showing her age. While it still plows like a tank, herding it up to 50 on the road is an all-day project when it's loaded down with the Speedcast and 500-600lbs of counterweight in the bed.

I know that to swap to the 318 I'll need to change bellhousings, engine mounts, etc. I've been doing some web searching for bellhousings and I'm finding two different listings for bellhousings to fit a smallblock to an NP435; 1969-80, and 1980+.
Can anybody tell me what the difference is? I thought that the 318's used the same bellhousings until Dodge switched to a hydraulic clutch in '85?
I just need to know if anybody can confirm from experience which bellhousing will fit both my '71 318 and my '84 NP435 (W/mechanical clutch).

Thanks in advance for any help!

Alright; since I hadn't heard anything back I went to the internet and after much researching it looks like the difference is in the clutch forks. Apparently the 69-80 trucks use a conventional pivot and the 80-up trucks used a ball pivot. Since clutch forks are pretty cheap it looks like I can go with whichever bellhousing I can find for less $$, even if it doesn't come with the fork.
Anybody who can confirm or deny that my 80's z-bar (torque shaft) will work with either bellhousing? Or am I going back to google again? Haha!
