Hinge to door bolts give lateral adjustment only. Hinge to body bolts give lateral and vertical adjustment. The lock striker plate can also be adjusted. Which one to use depends on how the door sits in the opening.

i hate adjusting doors, hoods or any other moving body part. usually get stuck doing it alone and it takes many hands and time.

i had this same problem. i had to install new door hinge bushings. the door was a little sloppy. its faily simple useing a cherry picker or even a tree limb. just need something to hold the door up removing the top hinge bolts on the door side. if you can move the door by picking up on it at the rear you need bushings.
