just bought an 08 avenger with the 2.4 vvt engine....im trying to get some tips on gaining some hp out of this engine...now i know all the small stuff such as air filter ,plugs, wires,ect ...well cuz i have a 90 probe gt with the 2.2 turbo with some small mods and it blows most v8's away and i know most of that is because the turbo .....now my real Q is ...is this 2.4 vvt engine a good engine to slap a turbo on even with the automatic trans?....i never even seen a car that has turbo and an auto trans.. would it be strong enough to produce high hp?
