Default Cabin filter

Does anybody have a pic of the location on an 08 Avenger, I am looking behind the glove bx but I can't see any place that would hold a filter.

Yes I just found it and mine was starting to smell that way to so that is why I am replacing it tonight, and the filter is quite dirty, it just shows how much is going through the car with out them.

Did you buy the filter at the local parts store?

Yes Napa, go in and ask them for a cabin filter part # 4578 for a caliber or jeep compass, it fits and it is half the price, about 16.00 bucks

I picked up mine from a local branch of federated auto. It's made by hastings and was around $14. Same filter in my 08 avenger as my 09 patriot.

They don't advertise a filter for the 08 but it has the location, now my ram doesn't have the location until you get crafty and cut it out with a knife buy the door and filter for the Caliber and you will be all set...same one fits Avenger.
