Check a couple things.
Is your clutch good? Is the fluid full?
Check the linkage underneath at the transmission. Make sure nothing broke, or anything.
My thought is the clutch is having an issue, but it could be the linkage.
If nothing is wrong there, then I have no idea.

Is it grinding when you try to put it in gear, or is just like kind of not going in, like if you kept on pushing the shifter it would break the handle before it went into gear?

by checking the linkage you mean taking the boot off and unbolting it from the trans correct? there really isn't any linkage you can see from underneith if i'm not mistaken

Make a nasty metal on metal sound lately? When my throw out bearing was going bad I got that nasty noise and it was tough to get in to gear... seeing how my bearing was in 5 pieces.

i got a buddy to help me and we tore the trans apart cause the clutch was fine and the linkage on top looked fine and when we got the case off there were 4 ball bearings and a couple chunks of metal so its the tranny im just going to have to get a new one

By linkage, yes I meant the one under the shift boot. It's a RWD tranny so there is no other shift linkage other than the shifter directly to the transmission.

It is rare to have something break in the linkage but I have seen it happen.

Glad you figured out the problem. Lost a major bearing there buddy.
