Default Shaking while Braking

Not shake and bake! Shaking while braking.

My truck 02 Ram 1500 QC(5.9l, 4x4, 60,200 miles) has recently been shaking while I am braking. I don't feel it much in the wheel. I do feel it in the brake pedal more than the wheel. Rotors and pads were replaced about 15k miles ago.

I also heard a "thud, thud, thud" sound coming from what I think is the front passenger wheel area. The thuds become faster as I go faster.

Anybody know what the problem(s) might be?

Check the wheel bearing. Jack up the truck and see if there's any play in the tire. Since you just replaced the brakes 15k miles ago, I would start there. Then also look and make sure the brakes were installed properly and everything is secure. But I would be leaning towards the bearing.

Sounds to me like your rotors are warped, even though they only got 15k on them...

pull em off have them turned and they will be good as new. THEN quit getting on them so hard, lol, fast heat up and cool downs warp them.

The only reason I thought bearings is the thud. The op said the thud becomes more prominent as he goes faster, which I'm taking as he's not braking while accelerating. Maybe a combination of both?

Sounds like warped rotors. How is your alignment? tie rods end could ampilfy a slight brake shake.

if rotors warped and a caliper hanging a little it will vibrate thump, and generally annoy the hell out of ya even while accelerating!

I've had warped rotors but I heard a screaching sound from the pads, never a thud. Not by any means sayin' yall are wrong for sure.
