I need to adjust the shifter cable on a 98 dakota. The Haynes manual shows a picture of where to disengage the lock and says "squeeze the two tangs" but I can't get anything to move. I'm obviously not squeezing the tangs right. If anyone can show me better pics or a video or can help me out in any way I would appreciate it.

 

Someone on here has to know how to squeeze the tangs!!
