Default Help with Dash Warning Lights

Hey guys, I have the following three lights on all the time.

ABS
(!)
(P)

...I do not see where this 95 1500 4X4 has ABS, secondly, what is the (!) one?, third, why is the parking brake light on, rather, how might i diagnose these and get them to turn off.

Thanks
Brad

means you have an abs fault somewhere in the system..the !P is just dodges symbol for your park brake is on..and95 did come with an abs option..does your speedometer work correctly at slow speeds?

Make sure the parking brake is fully released.

Probably the wheel speed sensor in the rear axle went belly up. (although, I would make sure the parking brake isn't causing the other problems first....)

One or two bolts, and an electrical connector. Sits right on top of the rear differential.

hey guys, how can i be sure parking brake is releasing ok...i mean, the cable seems to release but perhaps the shoes are not really releasing enough...or, its the sensor...but, i thought the sensor would make the speedo act also..

Thanks

There should be a switch located on the e-brake pedal mechanism, that tells the truck the e-brake is applied. (and turns on the light in the dash) Might have to do some serious convolutions to be able to see it.......
