Help my remote key died how to disable alarm
tonight my keys fell in water and the remote to my facotory alarm in 2002 slt durango wont work i figured out how to cut the siren off.what can i do to totally disable alarm so i can drive my car and get a new key or new alarm i have kids with appoitments so i am freaking out it wont crank to start right now

Open the door with the key and not the alarm. Should shut off the system. Then MANUALLY lock with your fingers and unlock via the key in the driver's door each time until you get it fixed (and reprogrammed if need be.)
In the interim, take the remote apart and let it dry out, then reassemble.

To reset the factory alarm:
Lock the doors manually, Close doors, last door to lock and close is the drivers side, put key into the drivers side door and fully turn the key manually all the way to the left then all the way to the right, turn key to middle and pull the key out, open the drivers door.
