my 2003 ram 1500 4x4 4.7 motor blew need to replace will a 5.9 or 5.7 fit bell housing

Before everyone here jumps all over you for just joining and not doing a search...you really should do a search on this subject. Like 2 people are doing this exact swap right now. It isn't as simple as whether a 5.7 or 5.9 will bolt up. Just search for hemi swap or swap.

 

i'd just get another 4.7, unless your really know your wiring and have time on your hands, and you would have to get the computers for the engine

 

Yeah, I wouldnt do the 5.9 unless is was a 5.9 CTD......LOL
