Red face Need a 1999 Transmission Oil Pan

Hello all,

Does anyone know where online or otherwise to buy a transmission oil pan for a Durango?

Or does anyone have one, in at least good condition, they are willing to sell?

I went to change the filter and the oil pan is rotted out!

Thanks.

you could check the junkyard, or the dealer (might be the only option for a factory sized pan) i think jegs or summit might have a slightly larger pan which would fit and just require more trans fluid in order to fill

+ 1 sharps

Junk yard or aftermarket for about $200 or so for a deep pan.

Thanks for everyone's replies!

I found some models on Summit Racing.

My question now is to which type of transmission the '99 actually has.. One trans oil pan says it is for these trans types:

Transmission Type: Torqueflite A-904 and/or Torqueflite A-999
Link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DC...ery=Make|DODGE

and the other is for
Transmission Type: Torqueflite 727, with application notes: 1966 and later.

I also found this one: http://www.xtremediesel.com/bd-power...7transpan.aspx

but with a price tag of nearly $240, that is a bit out of my range at the moment.

So does anyone know which transmission type comes stock on the '99??

Thanks!

if you have the 5.9l it should be a 46re, and the 5.2 comes with a 44 iirc

5.9L comes with a 46RE

5.2L comes with a 42RE or 44RE

4.7L comes with a 45RFE, however you do not have this because yours is a 1999.

Ok, thanks.

I have the 5.9L, so that is the 46RE transmission. So which trans oil pan do you think is compatible with it?

Torqueflite A-904 and/or Torqueflite A-999

or
Torqueflite 727 (1966 and later)

It's an A-518 transmission.

Check into this thread: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...re-tranny.html This thread is in the 2nd generation Ram area but it is full of good information. Also you can talk to master tech about part numbers for OEM pans or such depending on how much you wanna spend.
