Default How To Replace PCM

I have a few questions on how to replace a pcm. I took it to the dealer and they said that my PCM was replaced by one from a different truck and it was saying the VIN didnt match. Now i have to get a new PCM for my abs and brake lights and such work properly. I need to know how hard it is to replace, and where to get one so I can program it to my truck.

Thanks

Have the dealer flash your pcm to the truck. They should have the capability to do that, after all, I am sure they have replaced more than one PCM in their time.....

It needs to be installed in the truck for them to flash it. So do not remove it. And in the event you do remove it, disconnect the negative battery cable first.
