Default 318/ 360 Mechanical fuel pump
Anyone know What year did dodge switch from a mechanical fuel pump to electrical? Looking for a 318/ 360 w/ auto, mechanical fuel pump. Thanks

87 should have been the last year they used mechanical fuel pumps in trucks. 88 and newer should have electric fuel pumps.

Crazzywolfie is correct. 88 was the first year with injection and needed the higher pressure of the electrical in tank pump.
