Crankshaft Position Sensor Tricks???
Hey everyone,
I have a '99 Stratus ES, 2.5 Mitsu V6 and I was told by the guy I bought it from that his mechanic said it needs a new crank position sensor.
Went and bought the new sensor, located it on the bell housing, and hit this problem:
There is no way a man with normal sized arms and fingers and reach this thing to change it. It's way back in there, and even though I can feel it if I slide way under the car I'm not going to change it blind.
Is there any trick to getting this thing out or am I going to have to return my sensor, sucker up and pay a mechanic?

I had mine up on ramps and could only feel it by reaching around the bell housing and differential. No real way to "see" it...I can see the wire, but I can't access the screw to the actual sensor. Tried going in from the driver's side wheel well also but the darn thing is just too far away.

Any other suggestions still appreciated!
