Default what makes the 2003- 2004 dakota lift different?

does anyone know what makes the 2003-2004 dakota quad cab different so much that they don't make a lift kit for it. it would seem like the 2000-2002 would be the same lift kit. as i understand it the transmission is a little different and some electronics but what is different with the suspension?

as i know it my options are body kit/ turn the torsion bar/ or fabricate leaf spring swap to the front and solid axle.

i don't really like body lifts. i like the ride quality i have now and don't want to turn the torsion bar to give up quality. and i have no desire to fab a solid front axle.

has anyone took the 2000-2002 kit and made it work on an 2003?

also i did use the search function but never got an exact answer to these questions.

i was just under the truck and i just can't think what is is different. looks like a regular run of the mill torsion system.

The difference is the rack and pinion steering.

Pretty sure you're right, I've heard it's all in the front brake set up... They changed
From 02 to 03
