Default 2007 RAM 1500 tail light plastic clips

Anywhere to buy the plastic clips that hold the tail lights on for a 2007 Ram Pickup. Took out the two screws...pulled the light fixture out straight and fast like the manual said. The clips both broke. Dealer wants $16.00 bucks each for what should be a 40 cent plastic clip. Is it going to cost me $32 plus bulbs every time one burns out? HELP Please.

If it's an '07 and already burned out why were you doing it yourself? Warranty. 1 year old bulbs should still be good.

Thanks for the reply, even though it was of no help to me. I live 37 miles from the dealer. Had the replacement bulb available, so I did it myself. It still isn't right that you can't change a brake bulb without breaking a cheap little plastic clip that they charge a fortune for. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I had this same issue. Instead of forking over money to a dealer, I went to Home Depot and got a couple of rubber grommets in the fasteners section. Something like these:

You can find the right size and they slip securely right in. For a couple of buck it may not be an OEM fix, but it works.

Unless something has changed, light bulbs have never been covered under any vehicle warranty. Same with wiper blades, tires, brake pads, belts, etc.

EDIT: Just went to the Dodge website and checked the warranty and as i thought, Bulbs are NOT covered under warranty.
