Transmission Fluid Type
Ok I have looked through almost every post, Link and service manual. I must be going Blind. LOL. I have a 96, 2.5L, AX-15 (5-speed Manual) Transmission. I see how much it takes but I cannot see what type of fluid it takes. Any Help would be appreciated.

75w90. I'd go red-line or royal purple. You won't be disappointed. Yeah it's about $13 for red-line and $17 for royal purple a quart, but how often do you change your transmission fluid? 30k if your lucky right. Well worth the extra peace of mind in the long run IMO.

IIRC the AX-15 uses 75w-90 GL-5 gear oil.
