Can anyone help me with instructions on how to remove the headlight assembly for a 2008 Grand Caravan, not the bulb? I started to replace the assembly when I noticed that there may be at least two screws on the bottom part of the assembly. Do I need to remove the front bumper to change out the headlight?

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Complete removal of the front fascia is necessary to remove the front lamp unit.




3. Remove the three retaining bolts (1).




4. Remove the 4 retaining bolts (3) from the front lamp/fascia support bracket and remove the bracket.
5. Pull the front lamp assembly forward to access the rear of the unit.
6. Disconnect the turn signal, marker lamp, headlamp and High Intensity Discharge Lamp (HID) connector, (if equipped) and remove the front lamp unit from its mounting.

 

Can anyone tell me how to remove the front fascia for a 2008 dodge caravan , for the purpose of changing the headlight assembly. Thanks

 

 

1.Release hood latch and open hood.2.Hoist vehicle and support with safety stands.3.Remove front wheelhouse splash shields fasteners (6AND7) as necessary to gain access to bolts attaching front fascia to fender (5). (Refer to 23 - Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Removal) .4.Remove the two bolts (4) and two push pins (3) attaching fascia to the upper core support.


5.Remove push pins (1) attaching the fascia (3) to the lower support (2).


6.Disconnect fog lamp wire connectors (2), if necessary.


7.Disconnect the electrical wiring harness (1), if equipped at the front rail support.



8.Disconnect head lamp washer hose from washer pump BUX only.9.Lower vehicle.10.Remove grille/bumper fascia (1) from vehicle.
