Default Code P0740

Ok so where's the torque converter lock-up senser. Inside or out, I'm getting a P0740 code. It shouldn't be the hard to fix if you know where it is. Thanks for any help.

need more information about your truck man
specifically which transmission do you have? if you dont know the numerical identifier (44, 46, or 45/545) give us the engine and we can figure it out from that.

I do have PDF files for these and all codes with your transmission, All I would need is your email address to send it too if you want them. That also goes for everyone else. All you have to do is ask. Here is the information from old man 62 on another post. Then I going to delete the other post.

I have a 2001 Durango 4.7, 45 or 545. Jeep TCM. Code say's that the torque converter solenoid circuit has a problem. will pull all conections and clean. Also need to replace the power steering pressure senser, Code P0551. Only getting 15 MPG on open road, don't think it's locking up.

I just pulled the same code on my scanner yesterday, coincidentally. I do not know what transmission I have, but I do have the '99 5.9L, 4WD. I would also like the pdf's, please. I just bought this truck a couple of months ago (my second 5.9L 4WD) and recently had the transmission/transfer case fluids changed, only to find out the transfer case has a lead that apparently requires a seal to fix. I will be taking it back to my transmission guy and hope to have him fix this issue at the same time. Thanks in advance!
