ok guys, here is the deal, i (shrpshtr325, section moderator) like the idea of this thread and think that it will be helpful to ourselves as well as any other people who are looking to buy and are doing research on this truck. Im just going to lay down a few guidelines here as follows.

Type: 2011, HEMI, Citadel
Purchased: 3/15/2011
Current mileage: 23,000

Problems/issues:
Trim piece over rain sensor rattles - Fixed with double-sided tape (keeps the thin plastic from tapping the windshield)
No power / Non-functional Radio/Nav/Blind-Spot detection - dealer pulled and reseated the IOD, hooked up the StarScan and reset the radio.

Other notes:
I have driven from Northern Virginia, south to Port Canaveral and north to Connecticut and she rides great; the superb seating is much less fatiguing on long drives than in the Yukon Denali this D replaced.

 

2011 Express V6 AWD 21,000 mi, bought 6/27/11

Problems = 0

Minor issues - I pod nano doesn't always connect or transfer music, ( i need the reflash but with a 30 gig hard drive who needs an Ipod)

Back passenger door acts like child lock is engaged, won't open unless i hit the unlock or open my door.

Ride and driving position are outstanding!

Problems/issues:
Black lining in Glove box 'sheds' on whatever is in there.


Gas Mileage: Between 17.21 and 19.04 MPG (18.37 overall average) 60/40 Highway/City

Overall I'm thrilled with my Durango - its everything I was hoping for and more. It drives great, handles relaly well and is very comfortable. Mileage is a little lower than I expected (the trip computer calculations are about 1-1.5MPG high each time compared to my calculations).

 

Type: 2011 V8 AWD Citadel
Purchased: 10 months ago
Current mileage: 6200

Problems/issues:
-Tranny issues, shifting problems,clicking noises -unresolved
-Body panel alignment issues -Dealer corrected
-Heated front seat elements replaced - Dealer corrected (Twice)
-Engine light on twice, misfire condition-unresolved
-FCW issues, random failure of system -unresolved

comments/notes:

Only miles 6200 you be the judge.

Shakey steering wheel, been serviced three times still unresolved
Crooked tail pipe- dealer says can not straighten any better
Steering wheel cocked to the right-unresolved

Purchased 11/2011
Problem: Transmission rear seal leak. Repair in progress.

Problem/issues: Scratched chrome piece under driver side door - found by dealer at dealer prep prior to delivery and pointed out to me at time of delivery. I actually would have never noticed it. They ordered new piece and was replaced at first oil change.

No other problems - none! The DD is everything i hoped it to be - ride, comfort, towing, roominess, quiet ride and decent MPG. Would buy again in a heartbeat. It replaced a '03 GMC Envoy- no comparison.

Purchased: 9/2011
Current mileage: 3600

Problem/issues: Drivers windows control replace wouldn't lock or role down rear windows, passenger door and rear left gate alignment (now looks like a paint chip with some rest where the issue was fixed) had radio replaced (730n rhr) kept freezing up and still does was told update coming soon. and new this week drivers heated seat won't stay on ill try this weekend to get over to the dealer.

All in all love the truck and would do again !!
