Default Code P0562?

My truck through a CEL on me and I ran it and it shows "P0562 System Voltage Low". What's this that I have? Do I need to fix it then clear the code or clear it incase another problem acures and I don't know because the lights already on?

I'll check the battery then start on the alternator.

- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Slow engine start
- Low battery power
Possible causes
- Loose or missing alternator drive belt
- Faulty alternator
- Battery defective
- Open or short system voltage circuit
Tech notes
Start by recharging or replacing the battery.
P0562 DODGE Description
The battery supplies electricity to the ECM even when the ignition switch is OFF. This electricity allows the ECM to store data such as DTC history, freeze frame data, fuel trim values and other data. If the battery voltage falls below a minimum level, the ECM will conclude that there is a fault in the power supply circuit. The next time the engine starts, the ECM will turn on the MIL and a DTC will be set.
When is the code detected?
The P0562 code is detected when the battery voltage detected by the ECM is less than a calibrated value

Generally is a faulty battery. That is most likely your problem.

Whenever you see that code, first check the battery terminals.

Default Watch this video. Explains it all. Had same problem.

Check the connections to the battery itself. Likely loose.
Found this video and the guy explains it all.
