I have a 2008 Dodge Durango. It has the stock V8 and is 4WD. I have a stock radio with single disc CD. I put in the CD and it the radio spits it back out and says Disc Read Error. I tried putting in a disc head cleaner and the same thing happend. Any ideas?

 

Maybe try resetting it by diconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for a few minutes,

I have an '06 Dogge Magnum. I get the "Disc read error" too. But I only get them on home burned music CD's. I've never had a problem on CD's I purchased. Its something about home burned CD's that do this. I've heard about other people having the same problen on various types of CD players with home burned CD's.
