Default VIN Decoder

Anyone know of a place online maybe that we can decode our VIN number to see what equipment the vehicle should have?

Just call your Dodge dealer they would be able to tell you.

Found this and it's moderately helpful, but not for what I want to know.

I've told you before, the VIN does not tell you the equipment on your vehicle besides Engine, 4wd, and Dual Air-Bags. For everything else you need to acquire a Build Sheet, you can get one from either Dodge's website, or the dealership.

I'm currently looking for a Durango and found this primarily to figure out which engine they have.

Just go to Dodge.com and E-mail them with your VIN# for a build sheet. This will tell you everything your truck came with from the factory.

Unfortunatly, Dodge seemed to of removed the web page where you could send them your VIN and they would send you a build sheet. (It used to be this link, but now it just lets you check if you have outstanding recalls).
Just go to a stealership, they can print you one out with a list of everything it came with from the factory.

If you go to their customer service page you can still email them and get a build sheet. Or you could try the email address customerassist@daimlerchrysler.com
