Default Front Wheel Bearings...2008 Ram

After some of the research I've done as to the wheel bearing replacement on the front of my truck......I have some comments that say it goes real smooth, pop the axle out yadda, yadda.
Other comments suggest that the control arm gets in the way and it too needs to be moved.

Is the CV joint really that collapsible on these axles?

Anything else I should know?

Of course some of the vids make it look a little TOO easy....it's the video comments I like to read.

And most seem to have a full lift rather that jackstands.

A little dap of lock-tight (blue) on the hub mounting bolts. Had one of mine back out, luck it didn't do any damage.

So much for that little problem.

Dealer replaced the bearing under warranty!

Thanks. I am quite happy about how things are turning out.

And I am starting to love this truck.
