I just did the oil in my 2000 durango slt without a problem, but when I went to do my moms '04 durango, the plug was rounded out from previous morons at those quickie oil change places, and there's a bar pretty much preventing me from getting and sort of socket in, and I don't trust extensions on the sockets, too unstable. Would anyone have any suggestions or how they did it? Thanks

 

Try using a smaller pipe wrench. Worked on mine like a charm.
