Default Vacuum Leak Sucking Noise Driver Side Engine

I can hear a sucking sound (I assume it's a vacuum leak) from the driver side of the engine under throttle. I thought it may be the a/c compressor squealing but I'm pretty sure that's not it. It's definitely linked to throttle - both under acceleration and when in neutral. It is most noticeable under acceleration and then will quiet when you get up to speed at which point it becomes intermittent. Engine is 360 v8.

If anyone has any input on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

spray around there with carb, or brake cleaner..... see if spraying it in any particular spot changes the idle.

If you think it's vacuum, inspect your vacuum lines.

might be vac lines going across top front of engine to cruise control under the battery.

might be PCV valve on drivers side valve cover.

might be missing/torn small rubber gasket between air filter and top of throttle body.

Thanks, everybody. I had already fixed the cruise control vacuum so I moved on to the pcv valve and throttle body gaskets. Changed them both and the noise is gone. The grommet that I bought with the pcv valve actually was for the breather side but the old one was pretty hard and brittle so I went ahead and replaced that. Not sure which one actually fixed the problem but it's gone. Thanks again.
