Default tires rubbing

anybody know if 285/75/16's will rub on a stock 2001 Dodge Dakota? any replys, please send to white.cameronb@hotmail.com. thanks for any and all replys.

no they will not fit on a stock dakota. 265/75/r16's will.

yes and no 265/75/16 with no mods or crank t-bars up to level truck then 285/75/16 will fit

i saw some wheel spacers on ebay for the dakota. they r like $70 to your door. i was actually thinking about getting them because its hard to find rims with backspacing. that would also eliminate the rub for your tires.

wheel spacers are bad news...they will wobble until they where a) themselves out, or b) your lugs out. they sound like a good idea at first until you snap your lugs in half at high torque. dont take the cheap way out in this case. special order your rims go to a smaller tire or lift your truck.
