Default RE: Question bout synthetic oil

Well, I have to apologize to innothot02. I researched through 4 web sites on the fram filters, and he was right. I have been using them for years. I couldn't believe what I read. It was disturbing. So much so that I'm stopping on the way to work and getting a Purolator filter and a quart of oil. I'll change it tomorrow morning. It was a toss up between Purolator, or WIX >"that is also NAPA", but it seemed the write ups favored the purolator. I guess the old adage, "you learn something newevery day", is true. I also researched the oil, and couldn't find anything negative about my Pennzoil syntech, so I plan to keep using it. I'd still like to switch to the beer talk though, "Bud rules" PS - < I'm not researching that.
