If I was your neighbor I'd do it for $500 and I'd still be ripping your ass off!
$700 to replace the fuel pump??????????????????????????????????????????
Do it yourself.
You'll be well satisfied with yourself when you're done.
I don't know what a fuel pump costs, but if it's $150...you saved $550.00!
Or, spend $500 for gas and motel, eats and fun and drive down here to North Georgia and I'll do it for you for $200...gladly! You buy the pump.
At 90 some thousand miles, you have a new truck. Keep changing the fluids and you'll get 500,000 miles!
Old retired guys like me will do anything to make a buck!
Well...almost anything!

I agree with Loud, do it yourself... whoever said it takes 2-3 hrs 700 bucks must not know much about changing that out and 700 is def a rip off, unless you are a mechanic and you want to rip your customers off... When I changed mine out on the old truck it took an hr, tops of hr and a half, just drop the mostly empty tank on the floor and be done with it. I would def do it even if it had 150k on it... its well worth it, less than a cost of a dollar a day to keep driving it... thats a cheap car payment man good luck... have someone help if you are unsure

for sure, if you are not confident enough or w/e find a good friend who can do it for you for much cheaper.. but regardless, you need to replace it

My dads fuel pump is sporadic. If I get his truck for my ram, what all would be good to replace when the fuel pump goes in? Injectors? Any good sites to find Dakota parts beside Summit? Their list price for a Dak pump is $303.
