haha i was like wtf at first then i got it...just got back so $100 + a $5 frickin toll i didn't hit on the way down and i've got a bumper ready to be sanded and sprayed woohoo

good job. will your friend be able to get the paint right? or will he just have to go with the flow and hope it looks the same as the rest of the trucK?

they can have the paint guys come in and they have this machine that will tell you exactly what colors to mix but i doubt we'll do that because im doing it on the side on the cheap, we'll probably just spray it with PG8 and hope it matches good my paints in pretty good shape so i wouldn't think i would be off by that much

yeah when i worked for the dealership, we haad a guy that did that but in some cases he would ahve to mix his own paint and just tweak it enough to where it would turn out like the paint on the car... hope it works out and looks good for you.

I'm surprised that you found a GOOD bumper so quickly for so cheap...here in philly the FEW I could find were basically as much as the dealer for a bumper as rusted out as mine was...not to sound condescending,but you do know the painted parts are removable plastic pieces that really get rusted out behind em'...just a heads up...the several I looked at would look fine until you removed the plastic(to switch over from their color to mine) and the holes were so rotted they would flake away to 3x the size making it unusable...

yeah thanks for the heads up i thought they were and the bumper i got looks real good and i'll probably jsut have my friend paint the whole bumper without taking them off but i guess i should take them off and see how it is before had but the bumper is in really good shape
