Default New toys and big plans for the Dakota R/T!

Well im picking up a NX Nitrous Kit this weekend for 280$ 10lb bottle with everything i need to hook it up, but im not. Im going to wait to get everything i need and do it right the first time.

Ill be getting the kit this weekend, bottle, lines, solenoids, and jets ect..

Ill also be buying a bottle heater kit, electric bottle opener kit, iceman purge kit, 4switch gauge (arm, purge, heater, opener), n2o pressure gauge.

and if you think thats it.. your wrong!

I found an awesome deal on a set of Mopar Perf. R/T Heads with 2.02intake/1.625exhaust heads. Ill be buying those local brand new on Wednesday, they are bare heads for now im picking these up for 500$

then im going to buy 2.02 intake valves, 1.625 exhaust valves, vavle seals, .600lift vavle springs, retainers, keepers, gaskets, and new head bolts.

and since im getting new heads and am going to have the engine pretty much torn apart.. i have to do a cam dont i??? O yes i do...

So im going to grab a KRC 210x Cam for 150$ local.

and while im doing the cam, i have to upgrade the timing chain to a double timing chain, and get new pushrods for the .544 lift ill be producing.

So all in all, ill have a 100shot of n2o, heads and cam setup producing .544 lift with the 1.7s RRs ii already have.

im hoping with a good tune after its all done, ill be producing anywhere from 325-350hp to the wheels without the nitrous, with juice ill be at 425-450.

My goal in 500rwhp so maybe i can get a tune to poke in on the 5s or just up the shot to a 125 or 150.

With that i should be able to walk some vettes.

Cant wait, its going to be awhile till i get everything i need together and bought, but once its all done.. i shall post pics and vids..

the head parts are going to come out to about 600$+, cam parts about 60$+ and nitrous addons is going to be sick, about 500$+

Are you still on the stock tranny? a 408 would be awesome, its not really that hard of a motor to pull. Then you would have to do something about that amazing tranny.

motors is nothing, just takes some time if you have the patience... But yes a 408 would own, and I would get some heads if your doing the cam, heads are heads!
