Oxygen Sensor Removal
Having trouble removing the Bank 2/1 O2 sensor from my 2001 Dakota, 4.7L V8. I replaced both downstream sensors with no problems, but cannot get the tool (or any other tool) on the upstream sensor on Bank 2. The transmission dipstick tube prevents me from getting the O2 wrench on and the connection between the manifold and pre-cat prevents me from using a regular open end wrench.
Suggestions appreciated.

Bolt 2 - harder to access than the O2 sensor.
Big hands - great idea but no go.
Finally borrowed a flex head wrench that I was able to get in position on the O2 socket with a handle long enough to provide enough leverage to finish the job.
Not very user friendly placement of the )2 sensor, but mission accomplished. Already noticed improvement in gas mileage and smoother running engine.
Thanks for the reply.
