Default Check Engine Light and Trouble Codes

I have a 2004 DOdge Dakota. With the V8. Recently the check engine light came on. I scanned it with an Inoova Scanner and the cades I am getting are....

PO888
TCM POWER RELAY SENSE CIRCUT

PO700
TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM (MIL REQUEST)

Does anyone have an idea what these mean and or what I will have to replace or do to fix this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

well i can tell you it is most likely ONE problem, it seems that the 2nd code was caused by the first one, and probably one of the transmission solenoids, or (hopefully NOT) the TCM itself

is the truck exhibiting any symptoms? shifting oddly, shifting too much, NOT shifting when it should, skipping gears, ect. ect.??????

the more information we have the more likely we are to figure out what the problem is for you

EDIT:btw: i am assuming you have the 4.7l engine w/ the 545rfe transmission, correct me if i am wrong

Yes you have the correct engine.

What is the TCM by the way?

My girlfriend drives it and she said at first it would rev high and then shift but now it seems to be running fine and shifting fine. So I am guessing it is shifting fine.

Any ideas?

TCM = Transmission Control module. The brain that controls the tranny.
