my buddys got a 2008 tundra quad cab with the 4.7 and he beat my 03 dakota with the 4.7..its that damn 5 speed tranny!!!

Pushrod engines are only better in the fact they are easier to work on and cooler... dohc motors can really put out some power in less ci's then a pushrod motor.

I didn't race a Tacoma I raced a Tundra with the 4.7 in it and it was extended cab. I pretty much ran door to door with him until we broke 100mph and I walked away from him.
