Default J'ai Fini!!!!!!

Alright, I got my home made air intake finished here. I got pictures for y'all:
This is the bracket I welded up to hold the pipe steady:

And here is the intake itself:

While I was under there, I did the TPS mod as well. It seemed to work. My next step will be superchips 3865 in the fall. I am buying a quad this winter so my money is going to that as well.

Looks good. Did you notice a noticeable gain with it?

Wish my 3.9 had a TB that was that lazy to fab an intake for lol

Well, This could jsut be in my head, but it has a nice whistle to it haha. I love that. My buddy says it's false advertising but meh, this is my DD. After I get a quad and through the Superchips onto this thing, I want to get a 2004 SVT Lightning. But It seemed to be more responsive on the throttle. Thats it so far. I have ahd it on for 2 days now so I cant be fully sure

Hey all I did was a drop in K&N and I noticed a difference. It was more responsive, your not imagining it lol

If you drive it the same, which if it makes a better noise you wont lol, youll get better MPG too. Probably only a tiny bit but it all helps!

Haha it does man. And my buddy once again said it was false advertising.. so I told him to take his neon and make it whistle lol.
But the problem with exhaust and intakes is that, although they may get you better gas mileage, your right foot gets heavier lol

haha i know right? I had my intake off when I was cleaning out my TB and I drove it down the road and back and I was surprised how much it opened up at 3k, I wanted to just keep hammering down the throttle lol.
