its the clockspring for those who have the light go on while turning left or right more than 60 degrees, or if your horn or other steering wheel electronics dont work.

mines got the same issue, and i've heard of a few cases where it randomly went off as the light was on, but its very rare, so that shouldnt be an issue at least

Hey all. I have a '02 4.7 Dakota SLT. the air bag light is on and off intermittently, mostly on recently. My cruise, horn and radio are also out of commision. Is this all related to the clockspring?

The problem I had with my airbag light being on was the passenger override switch. The bulb was burned out in the switch. I soldered a new 12 blub in it and now the airbag light is off
So, if you have a passenger override and turn it to "off" and there is NO light at the switch, that might be the problem.

The squib itself is in the airbag. Double check all connections.

Not sure what you're saying. You need to make sure all the connectors on the clockspring are fully seated, you should have 3 connectors. The yellow one is for the airbags.
