how do you get the rear seats down on a dakota

Talking how do you get the rear seats down on a dakota

i have a 2003 dodge dakota quad cab with a 5.7 magnum v8 and i am trying to plan on installing a woofer or 2 into my truck but cant figure out how to fold the rear seats down or up can anyone help me out

The Owners manual that we got in the FAQ and in the stickies says this:

Seatback Releases—Bucket And Split Bench
Both seats have a position latch release. To release the
seatback if you are on the outside of the vehicle, lift up on
the recliner lever located on the outboard side of the seat.
From the rear seat, lift the lever located on the rear of the

seatback.

On mine all you had to do was lift up on the lower part of the seat and it folded up to the backrest portion.

What size tires do you have on your 20" I have an 03 and I'd like to do the 3" body lift and those rims look great on yours.

If you're talking about the seat back, it does not fold down.

Yeah the seat BACK doesn't fold DOWN, but the seat BOTTOM does fold UP.

you cant get down off a dakota, you can only get down off a duck. HAAAA.
