Default Headlight adjustment screw size

I have a stripped headlight adjustment screw, the head stripped out. Does anyone know what the thread size and length is? I think I can get it out, but I will trash it, I would like to have a replacement screw ready to go in immediately after taking out the bad screw.

I just attempted what you’re trying to do. After you get the bolt freed up so they turn, the bolts heads themselfs are rounded so they swivel and kind of (push) snap fitted in to the plastic housing. More likely than not you are going to crack or break those plastic holders, I got one outa four. You’re not out anything for trying but I ended up getting two used assy.. from a junkyard for about $20.00 each. Ill take a look tonight when I get home and find out the thread and pitch.

Sorry for the late reply.
This bolt is a weird size indeed. It’s an oddball English size, 12-28. I don’t think you’re going to find it at your local hardware store. The closest I could come up with was an M6 -.90mm An M6-1mm is a tad big but you’re going into plastic so it may work.

Good luck and post back with your findings.
