No my Dak showed nothing on the dash no warning light it may of had a code but a shop told me it was the PCM and they were correct what sucked is the replacement started doing the same thing a month later but it was under warrantee and they put a new one in and 4 years later still good.
I will tell you one thing when it bucks boy does it buck
I have the 2.5 engine so yours could act differently than my Dakota with a bad PCM
