Exclamation Before you post

When you post, include the year, engine, transmission, and body style.

Just because they look alike from the outside:

A 1997 Dakota is very different than a 2000 Dakota.
A 2000 Dakota is very different than a 2001 Dakota.

Engines, transmissions, and the wiring (including the PCM) differ significantly

AND -

Use your judgement about replying to older posts. If it's more than say a couple of months old, start a new thread.

btw I found a guy in Denver who rebuilds the NV3500 reasonable with 1 year guarantee
