Need advise on removing stripped torx (T25) bolt from MAP sensor. 2000 Dakota 5.9. Once the head stripped, I tried using a dremel to cut a slot in the head of the bolt and tried to unscrew with a screwdriver (didn't work!) Probably torqued too tight and cant get enough leverage. Because of the tight space, have a hard time getting a drill on a straight angle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Remove the throttle body that way its easy to get at it the throttle body probably needs a cleaning anyway.

Remember any bolts/screws on a throttle body are never tightened very tight just snug or you will warp everything.

 

Thanks, I figured that was probably the way to go, but hoped for some sort of secret remedy! I guess I now have a new project...hopefully it goes well!

 

It's only 4 bolts. just pluck it off.
