We've had a bit of a snow and ice storm so using my 4x4, I noticed it was clicking on the right front when turning right from ice to dry pavement. Any suggestions? Is that a sign of the CV going out?
Full time 4wd has no such restrictions about dry pavement. Your transfer case allows for the different speeds, front vs. rear, when turning. Not so with the part-time systems. That's why the part time systems bind when turning. It's very hard on the drivetrain.
