Default torsion key and bar dakota 2001

To just unbolt my 2 torsion key and The 2 shox to install new torsion key and shox that give 3 inche lift but how could i remove the key from the bar or The bar from my lower control arm because it don't go down enough To allow my key to go out of The cross member. Does i need to remove The sway bar to allow my control arm to go down?

Pry the end of the torsion bar down far enough to get the key off, then block it there with a piece of wood while you work. You'll need a pretty big prybar.
