Default missfire

I have a 98 dodge dakota 3.9L. It would not pass e check because of hot exhaust so a buddy of mine told me to put a bottle of rubbing alcohol in it so I did and it passed now it runs like crap. It had a misfire cylinder 5 so I switched the injectors with 5 and 3. Then the misfire jumped to 3 so I replaced the injector with a new one and it still does it. But it only misfire when it's cold if I let it run for about 15 min it's fine. I'm lost anyone help?

the ethanol/alcohol family is a safe fuel and should not hurt anything. With that said, the family is highly corrosive, which is why so many vehicles can run E85- it literally will eat anything it touches. But a quart of rubbing alky in a 16 gallon tank shouldn't have even affected the emissions????
