97 dakota starts but doesnt run
I have a 1997 dodge Dakota 5.2l 4x4 ext cab
It all started with my power steering pump burned up, replaced that and I drove it probably 300 miles to work and back then I went up to the store after work and it would start but only run for a second or two.
So I had it towed home so I could fix it there and been racking my brain about it.
Now it starts I drove it forward and reverse let it idle on its own and it ran for maybe 5 minutes total
It came to an abrupt stop but not like I turned the key off more like it lost air, it will only start like that twice then it's like it's not getting any fuel. it will start back up with starting fluid but immediately die.
Today my buddy noticed it sounds like a air hose spraying in the engine bay but I have inspected every vaccum line and no results.
I have tested for
Spark ok
Fuel in rails ok
Power to coil ok
Power to fuel pump ok
Fuel pump is kicking on
Replaced the asd relay
Just not sure where to go from here any insight would be highly appreciated!

I thought so too and replaced the fuel pump just the other day unfortunately no changes.
I Rented the best code scanner AutoZone, turned up had and no codes, computer shows nothing irregular as far as I can tell. I'm definately no mechanic but I have a good understanding of how it all works
