hey guys, you read the title right, I have a 2001 Dakota with a clutch fan and electric fan,ive been getting this very loud screeching noise when I get heavy on the throttle, its been driving me crazy, ive replaced the belt, and the tensioner pulley as well as the idler pulley and nothing helps!! so I got under the truck today and looked around the clutch fan and low and behold it looks like the darn thing has been rubbing against the electric fan( which would explain all the noise)...now heres the problem, id say theres a good 1/2" of clearance between the 2 fans, so apparently the whole engine is moving forward some under heavy throttle...is this normal??
