so I want to swap my 4.7l motor out for a 4bt cummins motor. Has anyone done this swap what all am I in for as far as changing things new to make this swap happen.

 

Seen a good half dozen Jeep Wranglers with 'em. I'm told not only do both Bruiser Conversions and JD Jeeps do them all the time but also sell all the conversion kits Jeep owners woukd need. Hell, I've even seen an early 80s Jeep J20 pickup with the torquey little 3.9L 4bt bolted to a Ford ZF transmission but I've never seen a Dakota first hand.

Would be interested in following your build should you attempt this...

 

its been done they at least a cummins swap into a Dakota ive watched a few youtube videos of it but they don't cover what all is needed to do the swap
