2001 Dakota 4.7 New Clutch issues
I got a 2001 Dakota with the 4.7 engine, Manual Transmission. Just recently replace the Clutch put everything back together and now I have no Pedal and it is not allowing me to shift gears. Like it isn't disengaging. Anyone have an ideas what I did wrong or what else would need to be replaced.
Thanks,
Nick Jung

I installed a new Clutch Kit. This is what I actually installed because my other one was just shredded to pieces.

You cant bleed the clutch on the Dakota its a sealed unit and I think it must be replaced every clutch job when installed its strapped at first peddle use the strap breaks. The kit comes strapped never cut this strap or you are doomed many have tried on this forum but failed if they cut this strap.
See the strap on the slave cylinder don't cut it off

Ok I just checked the service manual and I didn't see anything about the clutch master cylinder must be replaced at the same time. but it should be in my opinion so maybe you messed something up. Now if you pulled the slave cylinder off the housing and installed it at the last then that's the problem as it must be installed strapped.
Found this
CAUTION: The hydraulic linkage has a quick disconnect
at the slave cylinder. This fitting should
never be disconnected or tampered with. Once the
hydraulic line is connected to the slave cylinder, it
should never be disconnected.
